Manusath Derana’s Sipsal Pubuduwa Brings Hope to Nikawewa Junior School, Anuradhapura
Manusath Derana recently took another inspiring step in its Sipsal Pubuduwa school development programme by gifting a Smart Board to Nikawewa Junior School in the Anuradhapura District. This rural, under-resourced school has now transformed its newly refurbished classroom into a smart classroom, opening doors to digital learning and modern educational opportunities for its children.
Manusath Derana Project Chairman Mahesh Jayawardhana officially handed over the Smart Board along with gift packs for teachers and exercise books for students, ensuring that both learners and educators feel supported and valued.
This initiative reflects the programme’s mission to uplift schools across Sri Lanka, especially in communities where resources are scarce.
By creating inclusive, well-equipped learning environments, Sipsal Pubuduwa directly advances the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities. සියල්ලට ප්රථම මිනිස්කම පෙරදරිකරගත් මනුසත් දෙරණ, සිප්සල් පුබුදුව පාසල් සංවර්ධන වැඩසටහන යටතේ අනුරාධපුර දිස්ත්රික්කයේ නිකවැව කනිෂ්ඨ විද්යාලයට අන්තර්ක්රියාකාරී ඩිජිටල් පන්ති කාමර ‘ස්මාර්ට් බෝර්ඩ්’ එකක් ලබා දීමෙන් ඔවුන්ගේ නවීකරණය කළ පන්ති කාමරය සුහුරු පන්ති කාමරයක් බවට පරිවර්තනය කිරීමට හැකි විය. මේ මගින් දුෂ්කර හා සම්පත් හිඟ පාසලකට නවීන අධ්යාපන අවස්ථා සහ ඩිජිටල් ඉගෙනුම් අවස්ථාවන්ගේ දොරටු විවෘත විය.
