89th Manusath Derana Medical Clinic Held in Ampara
The 89th Manusath Derana Medical Clinic was recently held on the premises of Ampara Ambagahawella Maha Vidyalaya. Aimed at bringing essential public health services closer to the community, the clinic was held with the main support of Ragama Leesons Hospital.
Organised as the 89th edition of the Manusath Derana Medical Clinic series, the programme sought to support early detection of kidney disease and to provide medical check-ups and health guidance at village level, all in one place. The Ambagahawella Maha Vidyalaya premises was selected as a convenient and accessible location for residents of the Ambagahawella area.
During the clinic, kidney tests, blood sugar tests, cholesterol tests, Lung function tests, body mass index (BMI) checks and blood pressure measurements were conducted. Eye examinations and hearing tests were also offered, enabling attendees to complete several important health checks in a single day.
Manusath Derana continues its commitment to taking accessible, community-based healthcare to those most in need.
89 වන මනුසත් දෙරණ වෛද්‍ය සායනය - අම්පාර
මනුසත් දෙරණ 89 වන වෛද්‍ය සායනය පසුගියදා අම්පාර අඹගහවැල්ල මහා විද්‍යාලයීය පරිශ්‍රයේදී පැවැත්විණි. ප්‍රජා සෞඛ්‍ය සේවය ජනතාවට සමීප කිරීම අරමුණු කරගත් මෙම සායනය සඳහා රාගම ලිසන්ස් රෝහල ප්‍රධාන සහය ලබාදෙන ලදී.
වකුගඩු රෝගය පිටුදකිම හා ගම් මට්ටමින් ජනතාවට අවශ්‍ය වෛද්‍ය පරීක්ෂණ සහ සෞඛ්‍ය උපදෙස් එකම ස්ථානයකින් ලබාදීමේ අරමුණින් සංවිධානය කරන මනුසත් දෙරණ වෛද්‍ය සායන මාලාවේ 89 වන අදියර ලෙස මෙම සායනය පැවැත්විණි. අඹගහවැල්ල ප්‍රදේශයේ ජනතාවට පහසුවෙන් ළඟාවිය හැකි ස්ථානයක් ලෙස අඹගහවැල්ල මහා විද්‍යාලයීය පරිශ්‍රය මෙවර සායනය සඳහා තෝරාගෙන තිබිණි.
මෙම වෛද්‍ය සායනයේදී වකුගඩු පරීක්ෂණ, රුධිරගත සීනි, කොලෙස්ටරෝල්, පෙනහළු පරික්ෂණ ශරීර ස්කන්ධය, රුධිර පීඩනය මැනීම ආදීය සිදු කෙරිණි. ඊට අමතරව අක්ෂි පරීක්ෂණ සහ ශ්‍රවණ පරීක්ෂණ ද සායනයට ඇතුළත් වූ අතර, එමඟින් පැමිණි ජනතාවට තම සෞඛ්‍ය තත්ත්වය පිළිබඳ වැදගත් පරීක්ෂණ කිහිපයක් එකම දිනකදී සිදුකර ගැනීමට අවස්ථාව ලැබිණි.
